बिजली मंत्रालय ने 15 दिसंबर को जारी एक बयान में कहा कि- ‘‘NTPC ने सिम्हाद्री (विशाखापत्तनम के पास) कंपनी के गेस्ट हाउस में इलेक्ट्रोलाइजर का उपयोग करके हाइड्रोजन उत्पादन के साथ ही Single fuel-cell based micro-grid परियोजना की शुरुआत की है।’’ इसमें यह भी कहा गया कि यह भारत की पहली और दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी Green Hydrogen Based Energy Storage Project होगी।

Neena Gupta is a Professor of Mathematics at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Prof. Gupta has been awarded the 2021 DST-ICTP-IMU Ramanujan prize for Young Mathematicians from Developing Countries for her outstanding work in affine combinatorial algebraic geometry and commutative algebra. Prof. Gupta is the third woman to receive the Ramanujan Award since it was instituted in 2005.
