BHAGAVAD GITA WILL BE RECITED IN HARYANA SCHOOLS FROM NEXT YEAR, ANNOUNCED CHIEF MINISTER MANOHAR LAL KHATTAR
In Haryana, from the next academic year, recitation of verses of Bhagavad Gita will be taught in state schools. State Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced this at the International Gita Mahotsav. He said that the verses of the Gita would be part of the syllabus of classes V and VII. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also participated in this Gita Mahotsav program.
