The IPL debutants’ primary strength is their formidable bowling department. While Mohammed Shami and Lockie Ferguson are set to lead the pace attack, mercurial Rashid Khan and R Sai Kishore will provide some tight bowling as tweakers.
Yash Dayal, Dominic Drakes, Pradeep Sangwan, Jayant Yadav, and Alzarri Joseph are among the bowlers in the team. The success of GT’s season will be determined on their bowlers’ ability to carry them through the majority of their matches. Although their batting line-up appears to be light on paper, GT has some power-hitting players like Pandya, Abhinav Sadarangani, Rahul Tewatia, and Vijay Shankar who can close off games. Tewatia, Shankar, and Pandya may also roll their arms over to give the formidable bowling line-up more depth.

Strength of LSG
KL’s Rahul:
In the previous four IPL editions, the famous Indian cricketer has been one of the most consistent batters. Rahul has been outstanding with the bat since joining the Mohali-based club in the IPL in 2018.
The Karnataka right-handed batsman has been a force to be reckoned with, destroying even the finest bowling lineups. Since taking over as captain of the Punjab team in the IPL, he has amassed a total of 1296 runs.
The explosive opening batsman, who has been in superb form for Team India, will be hoping to continue his good form with the new club.
A diverse group of all-rounders:
In T20 cricket, all-rounders are prized for their ability to contribute with both the bat and the ball. They can score runs and provide the captain the option of bowling a few overs, if not more.
During the auction, the Lucknow franchise acquired some world-class all-rounders, and if they gel with the new franchise soon, Jason Holder, Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Krishnappa Gowtham will form a formidable side.
