According to Prime Minister Modi, Gujarat is the land of Bapu and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He stated, "Bapu constantly talked about rural development and self-sufficient villages. Today, while we commemorate Amrit Mahotsav, we should realize Bapu's objective of establishing 'Gramin Vikas.'"
