Rujuta Khade, a remarkable swimmer, achieved an awe-inspiring feat at the National Aquatics Championship in Hyderabad. She not only emerged victorious in the 50m women’s freestyle event but also shattered a long-standing national record. Her exceptional timing of 26.47 seconds surpassed the previous record of 26.61 seconds set by Shikha Tandon in 2003.

Virdhawal Khade Triumphs in Men’s Freestyle Event, Sets Impressive Record

Continuing the family’s triumph, Rujuta Khade’s husband, Virdhawal Khade, showcased his exceptional skills in the 50m men’s freestyle event. With a remarkable timing of 22.82 seconds, Virdhawal secured the first position, leaving behind his competitors. Mihir Ambre secured the second spot with a timing of 22.96 seconds, while A.S. Anand grabbed the third position, completing the event in 23.30 seconds.

Aryan Clinches Victory and Sets Third National Record in 1500m Freestyle

Aryan, an extraordinary swimmer, displayed immense talent in the 1500m freestyle event. Finishing with an impressive timing of 15:29.76 seconds, he secured first place and etched his name in history by setting his third national record. Kushagra Rawat took the second spot with a timing of 15:45.62 seconds, closely followed by Advait Page, the Best Indian Time holder, who finished third in 16:07.27 seconds.

Sajan Prakash and Suvana C Bhaskar Shine in Butterfly and Backstroke Events

Sajan Prakash, representing the All India Police Sports Control Board, showcased his mastery in the Men’s 200m butterfly event. With an exceptional timing of 1:59.37 seconds, he claimed victory and added another remarkable achievement to his swimming career.

In the 50m women’s backstroke event, Suvana C Bhaskar left a lasting impression by rewriting the National Record. Her impressive timing of 29.63 seconds secured her the first position, highlighting her prowess in this challenging swimming discipline.
