A guest house is inaugurated by UP govt. and at the same event Uttrakhand govt. announced the railway route for devotees will begin by 2023.
Tourist’s guest house
Yogi Aditynath Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh inaugurated a guest house for tourists in Haridwar on May 5, whose worth is Rs 43.27 crores. Pushkar Singh Dhami , Chief Minister of Uttrakhand also presented there to grace the inauguration event. The guest house is contructed by UP government and it consists of 100 rooms.
UP CM said during the inauguration event that,”Uttarakhand has ample opportunities for eco-tourism along with spiritual tourism. It will be beneficial for lakhs of youth. The state has a scope of tourism in every season; some people come here as faithful devotees while some as tourists,”
Railway route for devotees
On the other hand Uttrakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that the railway route for devotees who visit various religious places under Char Dham Yatra will begin by 2023 or by the beginning of 2024. The Uttarakhand CM said that “It is a dream for people in the mountains to see the rail. The 125 km Rishikesh-Karnaprayag railway route will begin by 2023 or by the beginning of 2024 for the devotees to visit various places under Char Dham Yatra”.
Some unresolved issues resolved
Further, speaking at a joint press conference with Yogi Adityanath, the Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami talked about the relationship between the two states, UP and Uttrakhand, stating that many unresolved issues due to change of government. have been resolved while some issues related to irrigation will be resolved soon.
