LGBTQ community holds a special place in society. Members of the LGBTQ community show their uniqueness and talent in various dimensions. Right from the trans nurse to the beauty pageants, now in every field the LGBTQ community people display their flairs. One of such stars is Sruthy Sithara.
Sruthy Sithara from Kerala has recently been crowned Ms. Trans Global Universe. She was also crowned the Most Eloquent Queen at the pageant. Ms. Trans Global from the Philippines and Ms. Trans Global from Canada took first and second place in the pageant, respectively.
Desires to better the LGBTQ community
Kerala native Sruthy Sithara hopes her victory will help her better the LGBTQ lives in the country and around the world. She aspires to work for the LGBTQ community and uplift them in society. Sruthy wants the world to know that the LGBTQ community members are normal and are an equal part of society. She says, she desires to help those people, who are scared to come out and show their talent in society.
Campaign to normalize the rights of community
With the help of her friends, Sruthy has recently started an online campaign named the kaleidoscope. It works to normalize the rights of the LGBTQ community. The campaign also aims to create public acceptance towards the queen relationships.
Works to raise awareness about equity
Sruthy previously worked in the Social Justice Department’s transgender cell. Now, the model-artist works to raise awareness about equity and queer rights. As a part of the department’s outreach programs, she speaks at various schools and colleges.
