The Indian Constitution is the supreme law of the nation. It is an important document that defines the fundamental rights of the country. On the special occasion of ‘Constitution Day’, Union Law and Justice Ministry have launched free online courses on the Indian constitution. In collaboration with NALSAR University, The Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law & Justice has launched the course. The launch is a part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebration commemorating 75 years of India’s independence.
Who can enroll in the course?
This course is open to anyone who has completed class 10. Students will have access to the online course beginning on the eve of Constitution Day. Candidates can enroll in the online course by visiting legalaffairs.nalsar.ac.in.
Great opportunity for learning enthusiasts
The online course was launched by the Union Minister for Law and Justice, Kiren Rijiju at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre’s Bhim Auditorium (DAIC). The central government developed this online course on the Indian Constitution to assist students in learning about the Indian Constitution. It would be a great opportunity for law students and learning enthusiasts.
The course includes
The online course includes 15 conceptual videos, with the first video lecture available upon registration. Once the previous video has been completed, the next video will be made available in a progressive manner. These videos will be available for 6 months from the date of registration.
No Cost Registration
This course is offered free to the participants. According to an official statement, the individuals who would desire to get a certificate of appreciation or certificate of distinction will pay a token price of Rs. 100.
Learning from the Online Course
The participants will learn about the fundamental rights that the constitution guarantees as a result of the great rights revolution, the relationship between fundamental rights and fundamental duties, the constitution’s futurist goals as embodied in directive principles, and the relationship between fundamental rights and directive principles, the powers of the union and state executive, and the role of our judiciary in particular in taking people’s sufferings seriously.
