Mayor Cecil Willis declared June 3 to be observed as Nambi Narayanan Day, while Madhavan and Nambi were promoting the film in Stafford, Texas. During his visit to Texas, the ISRO scientist and Madhavan also met astronaut Sunita Williams and interacted with her.
