Indian badminton team created a history on 15 May, by winning the Thomas Cup for the first time in 73 years.
Defeated 14 times winner Indonesia
The final watch was held against Indonesia who was the 14 times winner of Thomas Cup . India made the score 3-0 against Indonesia .The Sports Ministry Anurag Thakur,Twitter to congratulate Team India on their first ever win and announced an award of Rs 1 crore to the players. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated the team.
