If you are planning a trip to your hometown for Diwali and Chhath Puja, or a family trip somewhere, but your budget is limited, you can travel without any worries and pay later. For the convenience of passengers, IRCTC has partnered with CASHe and launched the Travel Now Pay Later facility, which means that people can book tickets through IRCTC’s official website and pay for them later.
The holiday season has arrived, and many people are travelling between states. The Indian Railways has launched a slew of special trains to increase the number of confirmed seats for passengers’ convenience.
Book tickets and pay in EMI
The additional “pay later” option is now available by selecting the CASHe EMI option. Depending on your EMI plan, you can pay the ticket price between 3-6 months after the booking date. People travelling for reasons other than Diwali-Chhath can also take advantage of this and travel without hassle.
People booking both regular and Tatkal tickets can use the “Travel Now Pay Later” option. You don’t even have any special paperwork for this facility. According to CASHe Chairman V. Raman Kumar, the facility has been launched across the country via the IRCTC’s official website. CASHe intends to use this to become India’s largest digital
credit platform.
About 15 lakh people book tickets through the IRCTC app every day. The app and website have made several changes to make the ticket booking process easier and more trustworthy. Every time a user wants to book their ticket, they will have to verify their IRCTC accounts. This will be done through mobile and e-mail ID verifications and without verification, one cannot book their ticket even on any other travel booking portals online.
