IPL 2022: Jos Buttler’s century carries Rajasthan to final; RR and GT will clash each other in finals

RR entered in the final of IPL 2022 after defeating RCB on May 27. RR will fight against GT in the finals on 29 May.

RR defeated RCB

Rajasthan Royals (RR) on May 27 entered in the finals of Indian Premier League (IPL) with a seven-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB). Jos Buttler of RR made a top-score with 106 not out as they chased down the target of 158 with 11 balls to spare. For RCB, Josh Hazlewood was the most successful bowler with figures of 2/23.

After being asked to bat first, RCB scored 157 for 8. RCB’s Rajat Patidar scored 58 runs, while skipper Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell contributed 25 and 24 runs, respectively. Prasidh Krishna and Obed 
McCoy each claimed three wickets for RR, while Trent Boult and Ravichandran Ashwin each took one.

RR and GT: finalist of IPL 2022

After witnessing 73 Matches in 64 days of non-stop Cricketing action, the IPL 2022 final will see a battle of teams with similar strengths finalists, Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals, who would play the final on May 29.

The Final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, which is a home ground for the first finalists, Gujarat Titans. Both the teams are high on confidence going into the Finals. The Gujarat Titans won the qualifier 1 with an empathetic win over the same opponent, Rajasthan Royals and the Rajasthan Royals are coming off dominating win over the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
