The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NAMCC) built in Mumbai is a unique example of architecture. Let us introduce you to its features. Operational from 31 March 2023, this center is divided into 5 parts – The Grand Theatre, The Studio Theatre, The Cube, Art House and Dhirubhai Ambani Square. The most special of these is the four-storey Grand Theatre. 2 thousand people can sit in it. Big events like Oscar Awards can also be organized here. The cultural center has been designed by Richard Gluckman, one of the world’s top designers, in collaboration with TVS, an American company. Reliance Foundation claims that facilities like the Grand Theater have never been seen before in India.
Grand Theatre; The stage can be big or small, 100 musicians can also come
Tim Wickman, head of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center, says that the Grade Theater is more luxurious than the Opera House. Sitting here, you will see the stage actors in such a good way that you will feel as if you are watching alone. The orchestra pit has enough space for 100 musicians to perform comfortably. The stage can be made big or small. The hall can also be changed according to the imagination of the artist.
NAMCC: Spread over 4.5 lakh sq ft
The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center is spread over 4.5 lakh square feet. With 9 translation booths and special headphones in the hall, you can listen to the show in 18 languages.
Studio Viator: Light Change in Moving Show
Chalte is the first studio in the country to change the lights on the show without disturbing the artist. Can seat 250 people. There will be dance, music, plays and events.
Cube: Seats can be removed completely.
Here, according to the need of the show, the seats can be completely removed or moved towards the wall to create an open space. Has a capacity of 125 seats.
Diamond Box: Diamonds studded even on the ceiling
The Grand Theater has 18 Diamond Boxes. Here 8,400 Swarovski crystals and automatic LED lights enhance the beauty of its ceiling.
Art House: On the lines of Global Museum
The art-house has been built as per the global museum standard. Where some of the wonderful creations of Reena Kalait, Vibha Galhotra and NS Harsha are shown.
Dhirubhai Ambani Space: Fountain of Joy
Dhirubhai Ambani space has been built in the outer part. Here ‘Fountain of Joy’ has been made, which has been prepared on the theme of fire, water, music, lights.
