Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest automobile maker, unveiled the facelifted version of its popular premium hatchback, the Baleno. The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift for 2022 has a fresh look, redesigned interiors with plenty of features, including some segment-first features, and a new powertrain. Baleno was first released in 2015, and this is the second major update in its 7-year lifespan. The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift range is priced between Rs 6.35 lakh and Rs 9.49 lakh in India.
Special Features of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift
- A 9.0-inch Smartplay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, head-up display, Alexa connect, 360-degree parking camera, and safety equipment such as up to six airbags are among the new hi-tech features of this luxury hatchback.
- A new 1.2-litre K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine with an integrated starter generator (ISG) and start/stop technology powers the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift.
- The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT (AGS).
According to reports, the automaker has received over 25,000 reservations for its new hatchback in India. These reservations were made between February 7, 2022, and February 23, 2022.
