Mahindra also said that he would be ready to help & support the innovation.

“Not sure how old this video is where it’s from or who this is. Received it randomly on Signal. But it looks like a really cool & thoughtful innovation. Truly a way of accelerating the lives of the differently-abled… It merits support…& I’d be happy to help…,” Mahindra shared his thought on Twitter.

2.Thaely –

Anand Mahindra has always worked for the environment in addition to being a business tycoon and industrialist. He is a big fan of innovative ideas that help the environment. In one of the videos that Mahindra explored on Twitter, a budding talent named Ashay Bhave comes up with the idea of converting plastic waste into sneakers. He came out in support of the young talented entrepreneur whose company creates shoes out of trash, specifically plastic bags and bottles.

Anand Mahindra expressed his interest in supporting Ashay Bhave’s startup by tweeting his admiration for his innovative idea of creating footwear out of plastic waste. He also expressed interest in purchasing a pair of ‘Thaely’ shoes and even funding the startup if needed.

He twitted, “Embarrassed I didn’t know about this inspiring startup. These are the kinds of startups we need to cheer on—not just the obvious unicorns. I’m going to buy a pair today. (Can someone tell me the best way to get them?) And when he raises funds-count me in!”

3. Four-wheeler with a kick –

No one beat can beat an Indian when it comes to innovation. Mahindra recently expressed his admiration for Indians’ ability to do “more with less” in a tweet. In a video shared by Anand Mahindra, a man is seen driving a four-wheeler made out of scrap. The four-wheeler was also spotted starting with a kick.

Though the vehicle does not meet environmental standards, Anand Mahindra was won over by the innovative concept. He stated that the vehicle clearly does not meet the regulations, but he will never cease to admire Indians’ ingenuity and ability to do more with less, as well as their passion for mobility. In exchange for the novel innovation, he also offered him a bolero. He went on to say that the creation would be displayed at Mahindra Research Valley to inspire others to create more with fewer resources.

Anand Mahindra tweeted, “This clearly doesn’t meet with any of the regulations but I will never cease to admire the ingenuity and ‘more with less’ capabilities of our people. And their passion for mobility—not to mention the familiar front grille”
Further, he said, “Local authorities will sooner or later stop him from plying the vehicle since it flouts regulations. I’ll personally offer him a Bolero in exchange. His creation can be displayed at MahindraResearchValley to inspire us since ‘resourcefulness’ means doing more with fewer resources”

4.Bike for differently-abled –

Anand Mahindra’s attention was recently drawn to a viral video of a quadruple amputee driving a modified vehicle in Delhi, prompting the industrialist to offer him a job. Anand Mahindra offered an opportunity to the differently-abled man to join him as a Business Associate for last-mile delivery.

For convenience, the man is seen driving a modified vehicle with the engine of a “scooty.” He demonstrates the operation of this modified vehicle at the request of a passerby. The man in the video demonstrates how he rides the vehicle and turns it with his torso. He claims to have two children, a wife, and an elderly father at home, and he has been riding the vehicle for five years.

Anand Mahindra tweeted, “Received this on my timeline today. Don’t know how old it is or where it’s from, but I’m awestruck by this gentleman who’s not just faced his disabilities but is GRATEFUL for what he has. Ram, can @Mahindralog_MLL make him a Business Associate for last-mile delivery?”
In one of the statements, Anand Mahindra said, “The Indian mindset has moved from one of ‘Jugaad’ to one of ‘Jhakaas’. The Jhakaas mindset is about thinking outside the box to ‘create’ something truly unique and awe-inspiring.”

Innovations coming out of the box always captivate Anand Mahindra’s heart. He has always shown his interest in supporting the unique start-ups emerging in the nation. He always lends his hand to the budding talent coming up in the community. Anand Mahindra believes that now it’s time to accelerate from ‘Make in India’ to ‘innovate in India’.
