The government declared that those who pass the UPSC Prelims exam will receive Rs 1 lakh. You can get Rs 1 lakh if you cleared the UPSC Prelims exam. However, there are further prerequisites for this. This state has started a scheme, under which Rs 1 lakh will be given to the candidates who qualify UPSC pre-qualification.
Scheme for UPSC candidates
UPSC Civil Services Examination is considered the most prestigious examination in the country. There are three phases of this examination – Prelims, Mains, and Interview or Personality Test. Every year lakhs of candidates appear for this examination, but only a few success. However, clearing the UPSC Prelims is also not easy, hence many state governments not only honor the candidates who qualify for UPSC Prelims but also give them incentives to prepare for the next stage.
Telangana government will give a scholarship
Telangana government has announced that it will give Rs 1 lakh to the candidates who pass the UPSC Prelims. The new Chief Minister of Telangana, A Revanth Reddy, has launched a new scheme for the candidates who have passed the UPSC Prelims exam. Under this scheme, the state government will give Rs 1 lakh to the candidates who qualify for UPSC Prelims.
Rajiv Gandhi Civil Abhayahastam Yojana
Telangana government has recently launched the Rajiv Gandhi Civil Abhayahastam Yojana. Under this scheme, the state government will give Rs 1 lakh to the candidates who pass the preliminary examinations of UPSC. Increasing the applicants’ confidence and motivation for the UPSC Mains Exam is the primary goal of this program.

Assistance to all categories of candidates
Candidates from every state category will benefit from this program. The household income must be less than Rs 8 lakh in addition to completing the UPSC Prelims. Applicants who hold permanent positions with the federal government, state governments, or public sector entities are not eligible to participate in this program. Candidates will be able to avail of this benefit only once in their attempt to pass the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
