THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND BROADCASTING UNVEILS THE TEJAS SKILLING PROGRAMME , AT THE DUBAI EXPO

Anurag Thakur launched Training for Emirates Jobs and Skills (TEJAS) in Dubai on March 28, 2022. This is part of the Skill India International Project, which aims to teach Indians so that they may work in other countries.

The goal of this programme :

The goal of this initiative is to provide skill training, certification, and employment opportunities for Indians living in other countries. TEJAS also hopes to pave the route for the Indian workforce to be prepared for the diverse skills and market demands in the UAE. During the initial implementation phase of this initiative, 10,000 Indian workers will be hired in the UAE.

The Importance of the Program

This project will aim to train the Indian population in other countries, thereby offering a trained workforce from India to the rest of the world. The TEJAS project will establish a link between the UAE and India. Implementation paths between India and the UAE will be built as a result of this project, allowing the Indian workforce to adapt to the needs of the UAE market.

The project’s Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) of India and Dulsco, EFS, FutureMilez, Artificial Intelligence Organization, EDI, Lulu International Exchange, and Prime Health Group, all of which are situated in Gulf countries, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for this initiative.

About National Skill Development Corporation

NSDC is a non-profit organisation based in India that was founded in 2008. The goal of the NSDC is to promote skill development by establishing various vocational institutes. This organisation also provides funds to help businesses grow and develop lucrative vocational training programmes. The organization’s headquarters are in New Delhi, and the current chairman is Mr. A M Naik.
