PM Shri Tourism Air Service: Connecting Tourist Destinations in Madhya Pradesh

PM Shri Tourism Air Service: Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav recently launched the PM Shri Tourism Air Service from Raja Bhoj International Airport in Bhopal. This new air service aims to enhance connectivity to major tourist destinations across the state.

Enhancing Connectivity to Tourist Destinations

The PM Shri Tourism Air Services is set to revolutionize travel within Madhya Pradesh. The inaugural flight route includes stops at Bhopal, Jabalpur, Rewa, and Singrauli. Additionally, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated a new ticket booking counter at the Bhopal airport and handed out boarding passes to passengers.

Cities Connected by Air Services

Under the PM Shri Tourism Air Services, eight major cities in Madhya Pradesh are now connected by air: Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, Singrauli, and Khajuraho. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) will manage the operations in partnership with M/s Jet Serve Aviation Private Limited (Flyola) on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis. This initiative aims to improve connectivity to tourist sites and make travel more convenient for passengers. This is the first initiative of its kind in the country to boost tourism through enhanced air connectivity.

Quick and Affordable Travel

To promote the new air service, a 50% discount on fares is offered for the first 30 days, making the airfare cheaper than the Vande Bharat Express train fare. Travelers can now reach Indore from Bhopal in just 55 minutes via air.

Comprehensive Information Available Online

Currently, the PM Shri Tourism Air Services operates two aircraft, each with six passenger seats. According to MPTB Principal Secretary and Managing Director Shivshankar Shukla, if passenger response is positive, the fleet will expand to include 11-seater and later 20-seater planes. These aircraft meet international safety standards.

“We are committed to providing the best and most regular service at competitive prices,” said Shukla. Interested tourists can visit Flyola to get detailed information on offers, schedules, and fares. This website provides comprehensive travel information and allows for booking. Booking counters are also set up at the airports in Indore, Bhopal, and Jabalpur for convenience.

Conclusion

The launch of PM Shri Tourism Air Services is a significant step towards boosting tourism in Madhya Pradesh. With enhanced air connectivity, tourists can now travel more conveniently to major destinations across the state. This initiative not only aims to promote tourism but also ensures affordable and quick travel for passengers. Explore Madhya Pradesh with ease and enjoy the rich cultural and natural heritage the state has to offer.
