MG Motor India has launched the facelift of its electric car ZS EV in India. It will be spotted running on Indian roads very soon. This one-of-a-kind electric vehicle will come with a slew of cutting-edge technologies.

In one of the latest statements, the company said that the ZS EV i-SMART technology has been given in the facelift, through which more than 75 connected features will be offered in this variant. In addition, services like Jio, Park+, MapMyIndia, and Shortpedia will be available in the car.

The new MG ZS EV price

MG has unveiled a revised version of India’s first 100% electric internet SUV. In India, the Excite model of the 2022 MG ZS EV costs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, the exclusive variant’s pricing is 25.88 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings are open for them. You can find the latest MG ZS EV in various colors like Ferris White, Current Red, Ashen Silver, and Sable Black.

Book your parking slots ahead of time with the new MG ZS EV

MapMyIndia’s innovative 4D maps will give online navigation and real-time traffic information to the users. The special Park+ feature allows the users to reserve and pay for parking slots ahead of time before reaching their destination. For entertainment, customers can use JioSaavn’s music and podcast streaming service. Shortpedia, on the other hand, allows users to read or listen to the latest news in English and Hindi.

Special Features in the new MG ZS EV

There can be many changes seen in the new variant of ZS EV. A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system will replace the original 8.0-inch unit, while a new 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster will replace the analog dials. It will also be equipped with an ADAS system. The ADAS system will be similar to that of the MG Aster, with the same camera and radar setup.

Safety Features of the new MG ZS EV

The new MG ZS EV is equipped with 6 airbags, 360-degree cameras and hill descent control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) for balanced driving. The all-new ZS EV gets Rear Drive Assist features, which further enhance the safety of the driver and passengers.

The new variant also consists Blind Spot Detection feature (BSD). This special feature detects sudden oncoming vehicles on the road. It also includes a Lane Change Assist feature, which alerts the driver of a possible accident while changing lanes. It has a feature of Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which notifies the vehicles coming from the rear right or left. While driving, these vehicles stay away from the range of the reverse camera and rear parking sensors.

Range of up to 461 kilometers

In the new model, the powertrain is being updated. The new MG ZS EV will have a larger battery pack with increased range. The present ZS EV has a 44.5kWh lithium-ion battery, however, the facelifted model could feature a 51kWh battery. On a full charge, the new battery may provide a range of up to 461 kilometers.
