It is estimated that Rs 170 crores will be spent on electrification and Rs 87 crores on itemization. Aside fom that, Rs. 87.73 crore will be spent on a sophisticated signalling system.

Doubling help in save time

To save time, track doubling and electrification work will be done concurrently. The route from Jaipur to Delhi, Ajmer, Kota, and Phulera has been doubled. In the coming years, railway authorities in India will try this experiment on many more stations for congestion-free traffic using automatic signalling and doubling.
