Nearly one crore school children in Rajasthan set a world record by singing patriotic songs at the same time as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ campaign to commemorate India’s 75th Independence Day.
From 10:15 to 10:40 a.m., students from various districts across the state sang patriotic songs at the same time. The main event was held at Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh stadium in the presence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and 26,000 schoolchildren from the state capital. This feat by children has been inscribed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Goel added that nearly one crore children from classes 9 to 12 from across the state sang six patriotic songs for 25 minutes at the same time.
