Journey of Marlima Muralitharan

Marlima Muralitharan said, " I completed my undergraduation in Civil Engineering in 1995 and started my work when transgenders were battling to acquire recognised. Now I own and operate a construction-relations office in Gingee.

I've helped 70 transgender people who didn't want to beg or participate in the flesh trade so far."

"I paid for fruit juice stores, cows, goats, and hens for eight transpeople with my own money. I also helped many people find jobs, and I helped three transpeople from Gingee, Kandachipuram, and Tiruvannamalai build their own homes by providing free plans and arranging finances for the building.

This award, I believe, is an acknowledgment of my efforts and will inspire me to do more "Marlima added.
