Since Russia started to attack on Ukraine, the entire world has stood with the country, with numerous individuals and groups banding together to collect funds for Ukraine. Many non-resident Indians (NRIs) in the United States have also donated to the cause, raising a significant sum of money. Gujarati NRIs held a musical event called Lol Dayro in Atlanta to collect donations for Ukraine, with folk singer Geetaben Rabari performing.

NRIs showered heaps of money as contributions to Ukraine when Geetaben performed in front of a large audience. Dollar notes were scattered around the podium where the artist performed in photos from the occasion. Geetaben, according to sources, raised $300,000 (Rs. 2.25 crore) for the people of Ukraine.
