Adivi Sesh awarded by Black Cat Commandos for his film ‘Major’



Adivi Sesh is awarded a medal by the Black Cat Commandos for Major; the actor compares the honour to the Oscars.

With his performance in the highly anticipated film ‘Major,’ Adivi Sesh has been winning hearts across the country. The film follows the inspirational journey of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and his bravery and sacrifice during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

The actor, who has been touring the country for special screenings of the film, has received standing ovations for his sensitive and moving performance in the film, which pays tribute to one of the country’s greatest heroes.

Adivi was honoured by the Black Cat Commandos with an honorary medal

The film ‘Major’ was recently screened for the National Security Guard in Mumbai, in front of 312 commandos and their families. This screening was particularly memorable for Adivi, who was honoured by the Black Cat Commandos with an honorary medal for his outstanding performance in the film.

According to Adivi Sesh, “We screened the film for 312 commandos and their families at the National Security Guard in Mumbai. They asked me to come to their headquarters after the film ended, and when I arrived, they presented me with this medal on behalf of the Black Cat Commandos. This is more important to me than any Oscar. As a result, I believe Major is a winner.”

The bilingual film, which will be released in theatres on June 3, was shot in Hindi and Telugu and will also be released in Malayalam.

‘Major,’ directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in association with Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, stars Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee 
Manjrekar, Revathi, Prakash Raj, Anish Kuruvilla, and Murali Sharma.
