Leads Connect chose Bareilly for the pilot study because of its potential as a market linkage hub, as the city is not only close to India’s commercial nodal centres, but also has a thriving urban cluster, which is a must for building a long-term value chain. More than 150 farmers from these two Bareilly villages will be enrolled in the pilot study using a field app and platform.

Crop suitability analysis

Seeds, fertilisers, and pesticides will be distributed based on expert advice after the Agricultural Credit Score (ACS) for each farm and farmer is calculated. The study would also use a crop suitability analysis report based on technology to determine the best crop for the region.
