Guru Purnima 2022: Significance
The well-known guru Veda, who was the son of Sage Parashar, was born on this day, according to Hindu scriptures. Being conscious of all kaals, including Bhoot Kaal, Vartamaan Kaal, and Bhavishya Kaal, made Sage Veda Vyas a wonderful kid (past, present and future).
He edited the Vedas into four parts so that individuals with less comprehension and memory might also benefit from this information. He foresaw a day in the future when people would become less religious and would have a diminished belief in god.
The names of 4 Vedas
1. Rigveda
2. Yajurveda
3. Samaveda
4. Atharvaveda
He gave the names of these four vedas and that is why he is known as Veda Vyas. Veda Vyas is also known as Maharishi Vyas. He is considered as the ancient Guru. Guru Purnima is also called as Vyas
Purnima.
