Features of the App:

Apart from providing translations, the Chhatishkosh app will also include information related to Chhattisgarhi culture, art, literature, drama, festivals, folk songs, and folklore. The app will have both video and content formats, making it an excellent resource for learning and understanding the Chhattisgarhi dialect and culture. Additionally, the app allows writers to publish their books for free and share their PDF books on the app.

Contributions from the Chhattisgarhi Language Professors and Students:
The selection of 25,000 words was done in collaboration with Chhattisgarhi language professors and students from Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University. They were given a project to translate English words into Chhattisgarhi, and students such as Sanju Gupta, Prachi Verma, and Mohit Kumar Yadu have been working diligently on it.

The Future Plans of the App:

NACHA’s President, Ganesh Kar, has stated that the app’s word limit will increase to one lakh words in the coming days. Furthermore, the association plans to start the second phase of the app in 2024-25, where essays will be translated into English or Chhattisgarhi simultaneously.

The Initiative to Promote Chhattisgarhi Culture Globally:

NACHA’s initiative aims to give the Chhattisgarhi dialect and culture the global identity it deserves. The app will help people from all over the world learn and understand the Chhattisgarhi dialect easily. The app will also help promote Chhattisgarhi literature, drama, and other forms of art to a broader audience.
