Honda Activa Electric Scooter: After a long wait, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has finally launched the Activa E and QC1 Electric Scooters, bringing exciting news for Activa fans. The bookings for these electric scooters will commence on January 1, 2025, and deliveries will begin in February 2025.These Honda electric scooters will compete with brands like Ola, Ather, TVS, and Bajaj in the electric mobility space.
Honda Activa E: Design and Features
The Honda Activa E combines the iconic design of the petrol-powered Activa with modern elements. It features:
- Sleek all-LED headlamps, tail lamps, and smiling DRLs, adding a stylish and bold touch.
- Premium fluidic design with practical elements for everyday use, including a dual-tone seat, 12-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, flat footboard, and a sturdy grab rail.
The Activa E comes in two variants: Activa E and Activa E: Honda RoadSync Duo, with five color options: Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matte Foggy Silver Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black.
The scooter features a 7.0-inch TFT screen with real-time connectivity powered by the RoadSync Duo app, keeping riders connected and informed. The TFT screen can be controlled via toggle switches on the handlebar. The Activa E also includes Honda’s H-Smart Key with features like Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock, and Smart Start.
Battery, Power, and Range
The Activa E features two swappable batteries, each delivering a 1.5 kWh capacity and providing a range of 102 km on a full charge. Riders can swap the batteries at designated Honda Power Pack Exchanger e: (BEX swapping stations), already operating in Bengaluru and Delhi, with Mumbai set to join soon.
Powered by an advanced in-house developed permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, the Activa E delivers a peak power of 6 kW and torque of 22 Nm, ensuring excellent performance. It can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in just 7.3 seconds and offers a top speed of 80 km/h. The scooter also includes three riding modes: Econ, Standard, and Sport.
Honda QC1 Electric Scooter
The new Honda QC1 Electric Scooter is a blend of fluidic design and innovative engineering. Its smooth body lines enhance its elegant appearance. With its LED headlamp, tail lamp, and sleek design, the QC1 stands out on the road.
The QC1 is available in five vibrant colors: Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matte Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Shallow Blue. The scooter also features stylish 12-inch front alloy wheels, sturdy grab rails, and classy rear-view mirrors.
Battery, Range, and Performance
A fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack powers the QC1, delivering an effective range of 80 km on a single charge. Users can conveniently charge it at home with a 330-watt off-board home charger featuring auto-cut technology, ensuring both safety and efficiency.

The QC1 is equipped with an in-wheel electric motor, delivering a peak power of 1.8 kW and torque of 77 Nm. It has a top speed of 50 km/h and comes with two riding modes: Standard and Econ.
