• The robots can release water at high pressures of 2,400 liters per minute
• Which will aid in the faster extinguishment of fires

In a unique initiative by the Aam Aadmi Party government, two remote-controlled robots have been inducted into the Delhi firefighting team to put out fires. These robot firefighters will assist in putting out fires in confined spaces such as narrow streets, basements, and staircases, as well as other hazardous and inaccessible locations.

The robots will be able to manoeuvre through tight spaces and perform tasks that would be dangerous for firefighters. During a fire, the robots will also assist humans in reaching areas that are difficult to reach.

The two robots are being tested, and if successful, more remote-controlled robots will be added to the firefighting fleet, according to Delhi Home Minister Satyender Jain.

The first time, remote control robots have been bought in-country

For the first time, remote control robots capable of remotely controlling fire have been brought into the country. Currently, the Delhi government has two such robots in its fleet; if the trial is successful, more robots will be added. The firefighters will benefit greatly from these remote-controlled robots,” Jain predicted.

The robots can release water at high pressures of 2,400 liters per minute, which will aid in the faster extinguishment of fires. The robots can also control the water pressure with the help of remote control.

Officials have been trained to operate it

Firefighters from the Delhi Fire Service have been trained to operate the robots, and a separate set of rules has been created to aid in their use.
“Officials have been trained to operate it. It will aid in the reduction of casualties during firefighting operations, as well as in areas where lanes are narrow “Atul Garg, the Delhi Fire Director, said
