Everyone’s way of celebrating their birthday is different, in Chief Minister MK Stalin’s case as well. On his 69th birthday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announced a special skill-enhancing program for the youth. The program named, “Naan Mudhalvan” (I am first) is a skill-building program aimed at improving the education, knowledge, talent, and efficiency of 10 lakh TN youngsters each year.
CM’s dream project
Stalin announced the program and stated that it would be under his direct supervision. While addressing the launch of the project, the CM said, the ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ project is his dream project. Moreover, he also said that the project aims to make students and youth ‘The First’. As part of the program, students from state and state-subsidized educational institutions will receive professional and academic counseling, among other things.
“I’m the first”
“It’s simple to claim that I’m the first. Being first, however, is a difficult task. You’ll need to get ready for it. He explained the concept behind the program by saying, “You need to have a clear notion of what your particular talents are.” On the same day, the scheme’s online web portal (naanmudhalvan.tnschools.gov.in) and logo were unveiled. The portal will help the students by providing information on higher education and career opportunities.
‘Naan Mudhalvan’ to provide soft skills training
The program will also assist in identifying each student’s unique capabilities in government and government-aided schools, colleges, and institutions. The program will also support the students by encouraging them to pursue their passions. In addition, soft skills training, such as coding and robotics, will also be provided and a counseling cell will be developed in schools under the scheme.
