According to state BJP president Suresh Kashyap on August 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Himachal Pradesh next month to open the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in the Bilaspur district.
He said that the precise date of his visit has not yet been decided. Jagat Prakash Nadda, national president of the BJP, had already opened the hospital’s outpatient department in December 2021.
Before the state BJP core group meeting got underway at the Peterhoff Hotel, Kashyap told the reporters that the Bilaspur AIIMS was J P Nadda and PM Modi’s “dream project.”
This is being constructed at a rapid pace and will be complete before time, he added. Kashyap said Modi will also address a Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) rally in the state soon. The exact date and venue of the rally is yet to be finalised, he added.
