Chhattisgarh Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: Full Winners List

The Chhattisgarh Lok Sabha election took place in three phases on April 19, April 26, and May 7, 2024. The state witnessed a direct contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC). In the past two Lok Sabha elections in Chhattisgarh, the BJP secured the majority of seats, and exit polls once again predicted a near sweep by the saffron party.

In Chhattisgarh, approximately 20,513,252 voters are eligible to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, including around 10.3 million women and 10.1 million men. This marks an increase of 1,514,013 voters (7.96 percent) since the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and an additional 120,092 voters (0.6 percent) since the 2023 state assembly elections.

In the latest Chhattisgarh Lok Sabha Election, the Bharatiya Janata Party secured victory in 10 Lok Sabha constituencies. The Korba Lok Sabha constituency, however, was won by the Indian National Congress. Jyotsna Charandas Mahant, representing the Indian National Congress, triumphed in Korba with 570,182 votes, surpassing Saroj Pandey of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who garnered 526,899 votes.

  2. Sarguja: Chintamani Maharajj (BJP)
  3. Raigarh: Radheshyam Rathiya (BJP)
  4. Bilaspur: Kamlesh Jangde (BJP)
  5. Janjgir-Champa: Kamlesh Jangde (BJP)
  6. Mahasamund: Roop Kumari Chaudhary (BJP)
  7. Raipur: Brij Mohan Agrawal (BJP)
  8. Kanker-Durg: Vijay Baghel (BJP)
  9. Rajnandgaon: Santosh Pandey (BJP)
  10. Bastar: Mahesh Kashyap (BJP)

In the 2014 polls, the BJP won 10 out of the 11 seats, while the Congress secured just one seat. In 2019, the BJP won 9 seats, and the Congress improved its tally by one, bagging 2 seats.

The voter turnout in Chhattisgarh was 71.06 percent, reflecting active participation in the democratic process. As the results were declared, the BJP emerged as the dominant force in the state, reaffirming its political stronghold.
