In a significant move towards holistic development in areas deeply affected by Maoist extremism in Bastar, the government has launched the Niyad Nellanar or ‘Your Good Village’ plan. Commissioner Dhawde highlighted the government’s commitment to providing housing, free electricity, ration cards, and essential supplies to identified vulnerable families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
