In an inspiring effort, the Green Army orchestrated a remarkable tree planting campaign during the occasion of Hariyali Teej in Ajmer. Collaborating with 42 organizations and schools, they planted 3,000 saplings within just 3 minutes, earning a spot in the Asia Book of Records. The event culminated with vibrant tricolored balloons soaring into the sky.

Green Army’s Rapid Tree Planting Record

During the Hariyali Teej celebrations, the Green Army, alongside 42 organizations and schools, united to plant 3,000 saplings in a mere 10 minutes, securing a spot in the Asia Book of Records. This endeavor marks a significant milestone, showcasing a synchronized effort on such a grand scale for the first time.


The tree planting campaign covered an impressive distance of approximately 3 kilometers, spanning from Makadwali Road to Panchsheel Bheru Vada. The preparations for this historic event spanned a month, involving participation from diverse segments of the city.

Championing Environmental Awareness

Green Army’s Secretary, Kuldeep Singh Gehlot, emphasized the urgency of transcending societal divisions to prioritize environmental concerns over issues of caste and religion. With the impending scarcity of trees in mind, he underscored the critical need for oxygen and called upon everyone to take action by planting trees in their surroundings.


The event concluded with a captivating display of tricolor balloons soaring into the sky, symbolizing the aspiration for a greener and healthier future. Around 4,000 individuals gathered to witness the massive tree planting endeavor.

Spreading the Message of Conservation

Kuldeep Singh Gehlot further expressed the imperative for individuals to awaken to the significance of environmental conservation. He urged citizens to take proactive steps by planting trees, ensuring a sustainable supply of oxygen for generations to come.
