The Chhattisgarh State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) is set to launch three TV channels for online classes. Keeping in view the convenience of the students, 3 channels will be started. Out of this, one channel will be for 12th class, one channel for 11th class and classes of 9th and 10th will run in one channel. All the three channels will be broadcast for 24 hours. In this, 6 subjects will be repeated four times in the form of one-hour lessons. Students can take advantage of it anytime according to their convenience.
Videos prepared by more than 35 teachers
About 6900 videos have been prepared in the studios of SCERT on the subject syllabus. These videos are of about 1 lakh 77 thousand minutes. 35 subject experts prepared it together. It has so far received 70 lakh 34 thousand views on SCERT’s YouTube channel PTD CG.

Nodal officer Deepankan Bhowmik told that SCERT is working on multimedia course materials since 2018. It is being broadcast through YouTube.
In addition to the SCERT channels, the PM E-Vidya Channel will also be providing online classes for students. The PM E-Vidya Channel is a government initiative that aims to provide quality education to students across the country.
