The Delhi IIT campus hosted the largest research fair of its kind, ‘Inventive 2022’. The country’s 23 IITs have gathered in one location with their 75 major research programmes. Many new innovations related to 5G were discovered through health research. There are many types of research projects that focus on the industry, but there are many that can improve the lives of ordinary people. Let us tell you about some of the most outstanding research projects.

The biggest crowd on the ‘Bhashini’ project

The Bhashini project of IIT Bombay had the most visitors to its stall. It is software that allows you to speak one language and convert it to another. For example, if you speak something in Hindi, you can immediately translate it to Marathi and recite it.

This project has two parts. The first is changed to be written in different languages, while the second is changed by speaking. This project is being led by Professor Pushpak Bhattacharya of IIT Bombay. Pro. Pushpak says that it will be available as an app soon.

Lakhs of bionic hands will be found in thousands

A bionic hand currently costs lakhs of rupees. It is currently out of reach for the average person. The School of Biomedical Engineering at IIT BHU created such a bionic hand, which can cost up to 20 thousand.

This bionic hand will be fitted into the handicapped person’s hand via a frame. The motor of the artificial hand is controlled by gestures received from the hand muscles. This hand can easily perform tasks such as pinching an object or catching a ball in the fist.

This plastic dissolves in the soil

A component that looks exactly like plastic but is completely mixed in the soil has been created in the Chemical Engineering Lab of IIT Guwahati. Bags made of this can be a great alternative to polythene bags. Toys, film rolls, and utensils can be easily made from plastic using this method.

The skin disease model is also in discussion

IIT Delhi is conducting an interesting study called 3D Bioprinted Skin Disease Model. Scientists are preparing human skin in the lab for this purpose. First, all of the skin’s properties and flaws are identified. Following that, chemical and natural materials are employed.
