The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced a recruitment drive at the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) in Telangana’s Hyderabad. There are now 55 junior research fellows, research associates, and research scientists positions open.
Important details
1. The candidates will be chosen on a temporary basis, which may be extended for up to five years depending on the candidate’s performance and the requirements.
2. There are 12 junior research fellow positions available.
3. ME or MTech in remote sensing, GIS, remote sensing and GIS, geoinformatics, geomatics, geospatial technology, or spatial information technology with BE or BTech in civil engineering or MSc in agriculture are required for the Junior Research Fellow job.
4. For research scientists, there are 41 openings.
5. ME or MTech degrees in remote sensing, GIS, remote sensing and GIS, geoinformatics, geomatics, geospatial technology, and spatial information technology, as well as BE or BTech degrees in computer science, computer science engineering, information technology, or geoinformatics and other relevant streams, are required for research scientist positions.
6. There are two positions available for research associates.
7. The research associate post requires a Ph.D. in botany, ecology, forestry, environmental sciences, or wildlife biology, as well as an MSc and BSc in allied fields.
8. Candidates who completed Professional courses through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) will not be considered.
9. The percentage of marks/CGPA grading cannot be rounded.
10. The candidates who have been shortlisted will be invited to an interview with the Selection Committee.
11. Only the screened-in/shortlisted candidates will receive communication.

Candidates will be given an online registration number after completing the registration process, which should be stored for future reference.
Candidates must scan and upload a scanned copy of all relevant documents, including a photograph, signature, certificates, a Ph.D. thesis abstract, and a Ph.D. award from the university, among others. Check
