Educational qualification
Post-Graduate Degree in Professional Courses (Horticulture/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Agricultural Biotechnology) OR Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Plant Science/ Life Sciences) with 2 years of post-MSc research experience
Salary: Rs. 35,000/- plus 24% HRA

Master’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Vegetable/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences with a specialisation in Vegetables/Plant Breeding/ Genetics/Plant Biotechnology and 4 or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree is required. Candidates with a Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences that includes three years of Bachelor’s and two years of Master’s should have NET qualifications and two years of research experience.
Service Terms and Conditions
SRF has a maximum age of 35 years (five years for SC/ST and women, and three years for OBC).
The position will be filled on a contract basis for a period of one year, with the possibility of extensions based on performance until the project is completed.
The successful candidate will not be able to claim regular appointments at this Institute because this position is coterminous with the project.
On Monday, May 23, 2022, eligible candidates will be interviewed at the Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR-IARI, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012.
The Division of Vegetable Science’s Seminar Hall will be open at 9.30 a.m. for reporting.
