GAIL India, a Maharatna PSU, has opened the application process for candidates interested in non-executive positions. Aspirants can apply for the positions through GAIL’s online portal, gailonline.com. On August 16, the registration process began. The deadline for submitting applications is September 15.
This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 282 positions within the organisation. Many positions are available, including Junior Engineer (Mechanical), Foreman (Civil), Jr. Superintendent (Official Language), Jr. Superintendent (HR), Jr. Chemist, Technical Assistant (Laboratory), and many others.
Candidates can only apply for one position. Only the most recent application form will be considered if a candidate submits more than one application form.

GAIL Recruitment: Selection Process
The selection process will comprise a written test and will also include trade tests in relevant disciplines. Based on the candidate’s performance their selection would be done.
GAIL Recruitment: Eligibility
Age: According to the official notice, only Indian nationals above 18 years of age are eligible to apply.
Education: Students with a variety of educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply. A Diploma in Engineering is required for the position of Jr. Engineer and Foreman. A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years of experience is required for the positions of Jr. Superintendent and Assistant.
Chemist Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry of at least 02 years duration with at least 55% marks is required for the position of Jr. A Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B. Sc.) of at least three years duration is required for the position of Technical Assistant and Operator.
A Matric plus ITI Tradesmanship is required for the position of technician. For the position of Operator, a minimum of 6 months of Fireman’s Training course is required.
