The Indian Government often undertakes many fruitful measures in various aspects of the country’s development. From business to education, the interests of the Indian Government have been widely accepted by the people of the country. One such step out of the many is by conducting interactive sessions in which PM Modi would address the students and teachers. This is done to yield more interest in the young brains and for the teachers to get some suggestions. Such an example is Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023.
PM Modi asked students to remain upbeat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with different students, teachers, and parents and also gave them tips and advice on how to reduce stress, overcome social media distractions, deal with criticism, and many more suggestions. Around 38 lakh students registered for the PPC round in 2023. As per the Education Minister, around 20 lakh questions have been received from the citizens and the NCERT has also shortlisted some of the questions on various topics that range from family pressure, stress management, prevention of unfair means to how to stay healthy and fit, and career selection.
Examination is not just about answering questions
PPC 2023 gave some very interesting tips to the Prime Minister to students, teachers, and parents. All these key points are noted below for the candidates appearing in the board exam, which parents and school teachers need to read and understand. PM Modi shares important tips with students, and teachers on the 6th Edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023. About 2050 students, teachers, and parents who were selected through the competitions on the MyGov app would be gifted with PPC Kits by the Ministry of Education.
Suman Mishra, who is presently a teacher, asked PM Modi how students should behave in society. As an answer to this, the PM replies that after the 10th, and 12th exams, parents should give students some money and they should tell them to travel to a few places and to write about those places. The students should also be encouraged to go and meet people from different statuses in society. He said that students should not be bound by restrictions and that the parents should allow them to expand within their horizons.
PM Modi wish support of their teachers and friends
PM Modi also said that some teachers are lost in themselves and if a student asks a question, they should believe that it is due to curiosity and one should not discourage them. He requested the teachers cultivate a strong bond with the students. He told them to do some research if they do not know the answer but told them to give students the correct information.
Another teacher asked PM Modi how teachers can attract students to study and teach them moral values at the same time. The PM also said that Tamil, the oldest language, made him proud. He also said that everyone should try to learn a few lines of several languages. He recognized the fact that young people generally have the desire to learn languages fast. PM Modi believes that if one knows even a few lines of other people’s language, it brings the people closer to the particular people speaking the language.
An initiative by PM Modi to help students deal with exam stress
PM Modi also advised the students to be extroverted apart from being fully focused. He said that India is a country filled with diversity and that we should be proud of it. He said that every language is a window to thousands of years of experience and wisdom and recognized the habit of learning languages.
Through this interaction, we can see the proximity of the PM with the minds of the children. This session of interaction also helped the students to be confident of who they are as individuals and also helped in boosting their self-confidence. PM Modi’s interaction with students also benefited the teachers by getting tips on how the processes of teaching should be carried out. Thus, the overall result is fruitful in the context of education for the students.
