In today's era, due to stress, poor lifestyle and diet, the cases of heart diseases in women are increasing rapidly. Earlier it was believed that heart diseases afflict men more than women, but now this disease has become common among women all over the world. It is generally seen that women often do not recognize the symptoms of heart disease and heart attack on time, due to which they are more prone to heart attack.

To identify the symptoms of heart attack in women, recently the Harvard Health Institute of America conducted a survey in which they said that 95 percent of the women surveyed felt many common symptoms a month before the heart attack, which can be identified. If she had got her treatment on time, she could have avoided heart attack.

These signs indicate that your heart is sick

For its report, Harvard Health surveyed 500 heart attack survivors. This report also breaks the myth that heart attack comes suddenly. But in most cases your heart and body start giving its signals a month before. If you recognize them on time, then you can avoid a heart attack.

Fatigue and sleep disturbances can be a sign of the heart

95 percent of the women surveyed said that they started feeling many problems in their body a month before the heart attack. During this time, fatigue and sleep disturbances were the two most common signs that almost every woman felt. Apart from this, shortness of breath, weakness, viscous sweating, dizziness and nausea were some of the major symptoms experienced before the heart attack in women.

The most common and early symptom of heart disease and attack in men was chest pain at the bottom of the list for these women. Women who experienced any kind of chest problem, they felt pressure on the chest or tightness in the chest instead of pain. Only a third of the women in this study experienced chest pain during a heart attack.

This survey will be useful in the research of heart diseases

Commenting on the findings of this survey, Harvard Health said, "This report sends a message that extreme fatigue, sleep disturbances or shortness of breath in women may be early signs of a heart attack." If these symptoms are seen in a woman, then by treating them on time, a heart attack can be avoided.

Health experts made it clear that women and doctors need to think beyond chest pain on heart disease and attacks. If a woman has complaints like shortness of breath, difficulty in sleeping, fatigue, cold sweat, dizziness and nausea, then it should also be taken seriously and checked with a doctor.

What to do if someone has a heart attack

According to Britain's National Health Service (NHS), anyone suffering a heart attack should immediately call an ambulance for medical support. In case of a heart attack, a tablet of aspirin should be chewed and eaten. A person who has had a heart attack should not be given this medicine if he is allergic to aspirin. Generally, aspirin dilutes the blood and improves blood flow to the heart, which gives a person some relief for some time.

How is heart disease treated?

According to the NHS, the treatment of a heart attack depends on how severe it is and how severe it is. However, the use of drugs to dissolve blood clots and surgery to restore the normal supply of blood to the heart are the two main treatments.

Tips to reduce your risk of heart attack

If you want that you never have to face heart attack, then for this you have to make your lifestyle healthy. If you have gone through this condition, then even in that situation a healthy lifestyle is very important for you. According to the British Heart Foundation, you can prevent this disease by eating healthy food, physical activity and keeping your weight under control. To keep the body and heart healthy, smoking and alcohol should also be given up. Along with this, women should also keep an eye on their blood pressure, cholesterol level and glucose level.
