Asia-Pacific Institute of Management Offers Rs 3.5 Crore Scholarship

The Asia-Pacific Institute of Management is offering Rs 3.5 crore in scholarships to applicants enrolled in its programmes. Scholarships are available to PGDM (general), PGDM (healthcare management), PGDM (big data analytics), PGDM (banking and financial services), and PGDM (marketing) candidates through the institute’s scholarship programme.

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, which include having a high percentile score in the CAT, XAT, CMAT, or MAT common entrance exams.

Marks in qualifying exam:

CAT > 75 percentile
XAT > 85 percentile
CMAT > 90 percentile
MAT > 95 percentile
Graduation > 60%

The scholarship award committee will make the final decision on the grant of the Late BB Verma scholarship based on a cumulative assessment of their common entrance test score, performance in group discussion and personal interview, and overall committee evaluation. Following that, the fee waiver (if any) will be determined.

“Candidates appearing in Final Year Graduation Examination (first attempt) in Summer 2022 can also apply. Such candidates will have to produce final year result of Graduation with minimum 60 per cent marks in aggregate on or before 31st Oct 2022,” reads the official notice by Asia-Pacific Institute of Management.

Scholarships will be distributed in two stages

Scholarships will be distributed in two stages: 50% in the first year and 50% in the second year. The scholarship will be awarded to a limited number of scholars on a first-come, first-served basis during the first year, subject to seat availability against admissions. For deserving meritorious students, a total of 30 scholarships worth up to Rs 100000 are available. To be eligible for the scholarship in the second year, students must have a GPA of 8.5 or higher (out of 10.0) in each trimester of their first year academic results. According to the institute, the student must maintain an attendance rate of 85% in all subjects during the first and second year trimesters.
