Arunachal Pradesh Signs Tripartite Agreement to Transform School Education

The Arunachal Pradesh government signed a three-way Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NITI Aayog and an organisation on July 30 to transform school education on a large scale. The Memorandum of Understanding is a three-year partnership (2022-25), focusing on improving the learning outcomes of students across the state’s 3,000 plus government schools and thus reaching out to over two lakh children.

Officials said the agreement was signed on the second anniversary of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The school education transformation project is part of the NITI Aayog initiative Development Support
Services for States (DSSS).

The MoU was signed in the presence of Niti Aayog Education Advisor Dr. Prem Singh, state Education Commissioner Padmini Singla, ISSE state Project Director Pige Ligu, and Ratna Viswanathan, CEO of Reach to Teach Foundation.
