AAP MP promises to donate his entire salary to help Punjabi students for higher education

Recently elected Member of Rajya Sabha from Punjab, Vikramjit Singh Sahney, who is the International President of World Punjabi Organization, on July 18 reported to give all his and staff salary during his residency of six years for the instruction of financially more fragile understudies.

Padma Shri Sahney made this declaration prior to making vow of office in Parliament. Before the pledge, he participated in 'kirtan' and 'ardaas' coordinated at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib here.

On the event, Sahney declared that he will give all his and staff compensation of his residency for the schooling of financially more fragile understudies. He sent off Punjab Education Fund and the sum works out to around Rs 32 lakh each year and this will end up being Rs 2 crore in six years.
