RRB RRC Group D Exam 2022 will be held in August: Check out the date here



The exam date for RRC Group D Posts is already available for applicants who have applied for the RRC Group D Recruitment 2019. According to the official announcement, the RRC Group D Exam would likely be held in several phases beginning on August 17, 2022, subject to the current circumstances and any updated government directives about the management of the Covid-19 epidemic.

For the benefit of the Railway Recruitment Cells, RRB is administering the online exam (RRCs). There are 103769 positions available under Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix that must be filled across all Indian Railways units. According to sources, over 1.15 crore applicants submitted applications for the 2019 RRB Group D Recruitment.

Admit Card Date for RRC Group D?

It is expected that the admit card will be uploaded 4 days be for the exam. However, there is no update regarding the call letter on the official website. The candidates are advised to keep a track of the official websites of RRB.

RRC Group D Exam pattern

There will be questions 100 questions of 100 marks from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness & Current Affairs. There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will be given 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the test.

The selection will be done on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

As per the official notice, “In pursuance of Sub-clause (ii) of Clause (b) of Sub-section (4) of Section 4 of Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (as amended) read with Rule 5 of the Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020, the Railway Recruitment Boards are allowed to perform Aadhaar 

Authentication, on a voluntary basis, for establishing the identity of each candidate to avoid impersonation and other malpractices during the examination and to ensure fair conduct of examination.”

Accordingly, Aadhaar based Biometric Authentication of candidates will be carried out before/during the course of Computer Based Test. Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for the latest updates on the recruitment process. Please do not be misled by unauthenticated sources.
