Bharti Airtel introduced the Xstream multiplex on June 14, claiming it to be India’s first metaverse multiplex. The Xstream multiplex is an expansion of Airtel’s Xstream Premium service, which recently reached a two-million subscriber milestone just 100 days after its inception, according to the firm.
The statement said, “Airtel unveils India’s first metaverse multiplex.” Airtel’s Xstream multiplex will include 20 screens and access to content catalogues from prominent OTT partners.
Facilites that multiplex will allow
Aside from English and Hindi, the multiplex will allow for sampling of top original shows and movies with content pieces such as the first episode of an OTT original or the first minutes of a movie in regional languages.
