Apple's annual developer conference, WWDC 2022, kicks off later today (June 6), with the company expected to make several announcements during the keynote. This includes iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, and watchOS. Apple is expected to discuss the upcoming realityOS, which is expected to power its future Mixed Reality headset. A new MacBook Air is also expected to be unveiled at the event. Here are the locations and times for the event in India.

How to watch a Livestream

As usual, Apple's website will host the event's livestream. You do not need to sign up to watch the event. Users of Apple's iPhone, MacBook, or iPad can watch the event live from Safari on the official website.

You can also use your Apple TV device to watch the keynote speech on a larger screen. The keynote will also be streamed live on the Apple TV+ app.

You can watch the livestream from your browser on a Windows PC or an Android phone/tablet by going to YouTube.

If you'd rather read about the event as it happens, we'll have a live blog that will be updated with new information as it happens.

When does the Apple's WWDC keynote begin?

Apple's WWDC keynote begins at 10 a.m. PST, or 10.30 p.m. IST. According to the official calendar invite, the keynote will last nearly two hours. However, given that the keynote will cover a variety of software products, this length is not surprising.

What will Apple reveal?

The keynote at WWDC is all about software. So, yes, Apple will show off iOS 16, iPadOS watchOS 9, macOS 13, and possibly a preview of the upcoming realityOS software. The latter is expected to power the company's upcoming Mixed Reality headset, though the headset itself may not be present at the event. Apple will most likely demonstrate some new features that will make it easier for developers to create AR/VR content that can then be used in the headset.

Some speculate that a new MacBook Air will be unveiled at the event. We'll have to wait and see if this happens, given that hardware announcements are uncommon at WWDC. Apple did announce its new silicon at WWDC 2020, but the official M1 MacBooks were not unveiled until later that year.
