Tips to control Diabetes

Symptoms of Diabetes

Diabetes is a type of disease , which further causes many other diseases. Symptoms of diabetes includes:-
1. There is a Frequent urination.
2. People always feels thirsty.
3. Increased appitite.

Ways to keep Diabetes under control

If one have diabetes then their primary goal must be to bring it under control. Some ways to control diabetes are:-
1. Increase Fibre intake.It is recommended to include whole grains, whole pulses, nuts, seeds, fruits, and vegetables in the diet.
2. Carb intake. The carbohydrate consumptions should be kept fixed everyday.
3.Frequent meals. Instead of taking 3 heavy meals a day , one can take 4-5 mini meals to control diabetes.
4.Refined food items. Refined food items such as white rice, Maida, dessert, soft drinks, sugar etc should be avoided.
5. Low sugar fruits. Low sugar fruits such as jamun, strawberries, pomegranate, guava etc should be consumed.
6.Herbs- Herbs and syrup made from fruits also help in controlling blood sugar level.
7.Exercise- It is also important to have a fitness routine for at least 30-40 minutes a day.
