Special camps are organized by the government for distributing Kisan Credit Cards to farmers, in the Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu from April 24 to May 6.
About the Kisan Credit Card
Farmers can apply for Rs 3 lakh loan under the Kisan Credit Cards initiative. The camps are held across the country as part of the Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari campaign, which aims to enroll farmers in bank-sponsored schemes. Farmers can take loans from the Kisan Credit Card for farming as well as agriculture-related businesses such as livestock rearing and aquaculture.
Requirements for issuing the card
Farmers can apply for the Kisan Credit Card by submitting copies of their pattas, Aadhaar card, Pan card, family card, and Voter ID.

Farmers can apply to their respective banks or primary agricultural cooperative societies. Farmers can also apply at the camps through banking correspondents or panchayat secretaries or at the block level agricultural offices.
All banks in Karimnagar are said to create a separate counter to handle the applications of Kisan Credit Card in the next 14 days. Applicants can take loans easily through a simple process. Individuals who are involved in agricultural-related activities can also apply for the Kisan Credit Card.
There are many other yojanas for which Framers can also apply for Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, or the Atal Pension Yojana.
