As part of its annual budgetary plan, the MP government presented a 'child budget' for the first time. The government has set up Rs 57,803 crore for 220 initiatives aimed at children under the age of 18 that would be executed across 17 departments, including education.

About Child Budget

The centerpiece of this year's Budget was the creation of a separate Child Budget, with Rs 57,803 crore set aside for their nutrition, health, and education. This grant has been distributed to all departments that work with children under the age of eighteen. Women and children, school education, sports, and tribal welfare are among the departments. The state's children will have a bright future just because of the separate Child Budget. The Child Budget will allow the government to address child-focused programmes such as newborn mortality and malnutrition.
